Who

Naomi McCann is a certified practicing speech pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), and is dedicated to providing tailored therapy solutions for each individual. Naomi’s understanding of the diverse needs of her clients, allows her to approach every case with compassion and expertise. She utilises evidence-based practices to assess and diagnose individuals, ensuring that each therapy plan is customised to support the unique goals of her clients.

Naomi is a wife and mother of two children, which enriches her ability to connect with and support the parents of her clients. Her personal experience helps her to better empathise with their needs and offer meaningful guidance.

Naomi’s commitment to ongoing professional development allows her to incorporate the latest research and techniques into her practice, enhancing the effectiveness of her interventions. She believes in fostering a supportive and encouraging environment, where clients feel empowered to achieve their communication milestones. Through collaborative goal setting and regular progress assessments, Naomi ensures that therapy remains a dynamic process, adapting to the evolving needs of her clients.


What

We welcome all referrals:

  • individuals/family members

  • GP Medicare referrals

  • Support coordinator referrals for NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants

  • Allied Health Professionals

Services are offered to young people and adults experiencing speech, language, literacy, and social communication difficulties. This may include difficulties such as:

  • Speech sound production and articulation

  • Vocabulary

  • Critical thinking, including but not limited to, asking questions, analysing and evaluating information, drawing conclusions, and problem solving

  • Following directions

  • Comprehension, understanding information that you hear or read

  • Information recall

  • Grammar and Sentence construction

  • Literacy - reading & spelling

  • Social skills – interacting with others


Naomi enjoys working with and providing services to adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or neurological conditions as a result of a stroke, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease etc.
